What to Expect from Your New Chrysler 200
Chrysler 200 Engine, Performance, and Ride
The standard engine in the 200 is a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder that generates 184 horsepower and a torque of 173 pound-feet. The S and C trims can be configured with a 3.6-liter V6 instead, producing 262 pound-feet and 295 horsepower. Either engine works with a 9-speed automatic, and the 200S has paddle shifters mounted on the steering wheel. Although front-wheel drive comes standard, it can be changed to all-wheel drive with the V6 engine, which also has a Sport mode.
The 200S configured with all-wheel drive is one of the fastest family sedans with a V6, reaching 60 mph in 6.2 seconds. Expect the base engine to get up to 28 mpg combined and the V6 to get 23 mpg* combined.
Chrysler 200 Comfort and Convenience
All models of the Chrysler 200 have keyless entry and ignition, cruise control, air-conditioning, and a steering wheel that is tilting and telescoping. Entertainment is via the auxiliary audio input and USB/iPod connection, although you can configure this sedan with UConnect. This option adds Bluetooth for audio and phone as well as a 5-inch touchscreen for the audio. Moving up the trim levels can also add heated front seats, heated mirrors, satellite radio, a rearview camera, a sunroof, navigation, and a sport-tuned suspension.
